What is the Protocol?
“The world was not destroyed.
It was halted.”
The Protocol is the logic that organises the Ark. For millennia, it unfolded territories called Phases : each with its own laws, species and memory.
Then Phase 0 was announced, begun… and never completed. Expansion stopped. Structures remain unfinished. Some zones repeat; others malfunction.
Yet the world still reacts. Your presence is one of its attempts to resume.

Tribes, Race and Le Protocole take place in the same universe. Le Protocole explores a later age.
You cross Phases whose laws survived the halt. Mapping their paths, recovering their memories, anchoring your discoveries: this is how your pack moves through the Ark.
01SX-04 / The Silent Carpet
Buried sanctuaries and villages clinging to roots preserve the Ark’s first instructions. Here, living things absorb traces and pass them on. Even a passage may react to your presence.
Your first survey starts here: learn the terrain and find a foothold in a Phase that barely tolerates you.

02TX-09 / The Nexus
The Nexuses connect fragments of memory. Their relays still transmit; their loops still seek an ending. The Archivist Order deciphers the traces of N0, the presence that organised the world.
Exploring these archives means recovering instructions and understanding what has kept working since the halt.

03RÉ-01 / The Conflagration
Among craters and glassy ruins, the Brotherhood of the Conflagration tests whatever still endures. It sees the halt as a weakness to burn away, and every surviving form as the promise of a new beginning.
Your pack crosses these lands to continue its surveys. Each Phase demands another way to endure, fight and advance.

You are an attempt by the Protocol to keep existing. Each card is an instruction you commit to the world; each encounter, a response from the Ark.
On your expeditions, you survey territories, discover cards and artefacts, then prepare the next attempt at Camp. Your Atlas and collections preserve what you have found.
How an attempt plays outThe deckbuilder
A commander, a support and a fighter share your hand. You choose who acts, which cards to play and when to hand over. Each has their own Charges.
Two cards of the same family played in succession trigger Resonance. Extending that sequence risks Saturation, which strengthens the enemy’s response.
Build a deck in the ArmoryBrowse the cards and share your deck code (“seed”), or import it into the game.

Fortification offers more protection. Convergence strikes while gaining Shield. Two answers, each costing 2 Charges.
